Dr Maria Montessori developed the Montessori Method in the early 1900s. It’s a specific child-centred method of education that involves child-led activities, which we have referenced as guided play in our 28-day program.

The Montessori core principles are outlined below and applied throughout the Monte method.

Our 28-day program incorporates the core principles of Montessori and uses a prepared environment to encourage discovery and independent dressing in nursery and primary-aged children; this is the “Monte Method”.
